Dry River Martinborough Lovat Syrah 2008
Dark berry and black pepper bouquet, smooth and succulent with notes of herbs and spice, intense pepper flavours dominate the palate, medium bodied wine that will soften over Atime, one for the cellar, about $64 from the winery.

Pale pink and made with 100% Merlot, fresh strawberry flavours with a backbone of tannin adding body, dry style and well matched with a warm lamb salad, about $22 in NZ.
